Your Hosts
With local family roots going back to the early days of the Acme Packers, Wisconsin-born Erik Herskind (and his wife Jennifer) are third generation Packers’ season ticket holders sitting in the exact seats Erik’s grandfather purchased in 1957 (the first year the team played in City Stadium — renamed Lambeau Field in 1965). As the only allergist in Green Bay, Dr. Fredrick O. Kuehl provided care to Packers players during football’s golden age and the Packers unrivaled title years of the 1960s (somewhere in a box of old photos is a picture of Dr. Kuehl giving Bart Starr an allergy shot).
After years of coming to a game or two each season, Erik and Jennifer decided to follow their hearts and bought the house in 2017. Their goal was to create a genuine Wisconsin tailgate house by combining vintage accents and artworks with modern furnishings, amenities and technology.
While spending more and more time in Green Bay, the couple has continually enhanced the house to create an even more authentic 1960s vibe for friends and guests — the garage being a recent focal point of their efforts. They, like their neighbors, know well that there is simply no other pro football experience like the one you will have in Green Bay.
Compliant and Licensed
The house has met and/or exceeded all requirements and inspections from Brown County and the Village of Ashwaubenon, and holds a current and valid Temporary Rooming House Permit.
